These pieces measure about an inch and are roughly tumbled. Nuummite is an incredible old stone formed by volcanic activity. It is a combination of Anthophyllite and Gedrite. Most nuummite will be black with flecs of silver, grey, gold or reds. These nuummite were found in Canada; much of the glossier higher grades are found in Greenland. These are not nuummite with flash in them.
Nuummite is simply known as a Sorcerer’s Stone. It can be a more intense stone to work with as it allows for journeying into the psyche. Nuummite is rumored to be one of the best grounding stones next to tourmaline and hematite as it’s rumored to have a strong electro-magnetic field.
